Normal sessions are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm till 7:15pm. Other sessions are added if and when they are needed. This usually happens when there is a competition, grading or a special event in the pipeline. We also occasionally meet and training outside, usually in the country side.

Syllabus

In Spirit Combat we have two distinct syllabuses, one for the adults and one for the juniors.

Both are based on 8 forms, and each form consists of 10 techniques. These are practised from different strikes and grabs. As one advance thought the belts the techniques get harder. As one progressed through with his training, how to defend oneself from multiple attackers and against various weapons is also introduced.

How to fall (breakfalls) are thought during the first months of practice, due that they are the basic of all the throws and take downs that one has to learn.

During training the student is placed in different scenarios and at different fighting ranges, both standing up and on the ground. S/he is thought how to defend oneself in many types of situations.

Apart from the physical aspect, our syllabus is also aimed to develop a calm mind attitude and self-discipline. To become a truly complete Martial Artist one has to be able to control his/her emotions before be able to control a situation and/or another person.

These are the belts in the order of our syllabus. Each student has a form (10 techniques) and other strikes and throws that s/he has to learn to be able to progress to the next belt.
